Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins Summary
Catching Fire is one of the best books of this century. Suzanne Collins is the author of this novel. The pages are filled with family secrets, family devotion, and the devastating fallout for all involved when certain truths become known. It is a moving and emotional novel about love, loss, truth, lies, family, friendship, birth, and rebirth.
It is a beautifully written story of love and loss and everything in-between. The stories, the characters, everything is so well developed and intriguing. This book would be a good read during a long plane ride, on a lazy Sunday afternoon, or at the beach. It was not very complex or difficult to comprehend, and it was a quick read.
Suzanne Collins, phenomenal Hunger, and Peeta these are the prominent characters of this novel. Before reading The Hunger Games trilogy, I had more than a few people tell me the first two books were good, but the last one was lacking.
